In this episode, I share my personal story, the experiences that shaped my life, and the journey that led me to the mission God placed on my heart.
I reflect on the lessons, challenges, faith, and purpose that have guided me through the years and how those experiences became the foundation for my artwork, Project Compassion, and my desire to serve others through remembrance and truth.
My hope in sharing this part of my story is to offer encouragement, inspire reflection, and remind others that God often uses our life experiences to prepare us for a greater purpose than we can see in the moment.
In this second part of my story, I continue sharing the experiences, lessons, and moments that helped shape my faith, my purpose, and the mission God has placed on my life.
I reflect on the path that led me through seasons of growth, challenge, and discovery, and how each step became part of the greater calling to honor others through art, remembrance, and truth.
My hope is that by sharing more of my journey, others may be encouraged to trust God’s timing, recognize purpose in their own lives, and understand that even life’s hardest moments can prepare us for something greater.
I am an artist, storyteller, and woman of faith who believes every life has purpose and every memory deserves to be honored.
What began as a love for painting became a calling much greater than I ever imagined. Through Project Compassion, I have spent years creating portraits that honor America’s fallen heroes and bring comfort to the families they left behind. Each portrait is more than paint on canvas. It is a way to preserve a legacy, honor sacrifice, and remind others that these lives will never be forgotten.
Along this journey, I have been blessed to hear thousands of stories from families across our nation. Their courage, love, and faith have shaped not only my artwork, but my life and my understanding of God’s purpose.
I believe that to ask God for a blessing is to first be thankful for what He has already given and not be wasteful with it.
My work is rooted in faith, gratitude, remembrance, and the belief that art can heal hearts, inspire truth, and draw people closer to God.
Whether through painting, sharing stories, or speaking from the heart through my “Words of a Wise Ol’ Woman” messages, my hope is simple...
To honor what matters.
To preserve what should never be forgotten.
And to encourage others to seek truth, live with purpose, and grow closer to God.
